In 1989, our father began growing citrus and producing Chenpi through a small family workshop in Xinhui — the undisputed homeland of authentic aged citrus peel. Everything was done traditionally by hand: tending the orchards, peeling the citrus, sun-drying the peels under natural Guangdong sunlight, and carefully storing them season after season.
Growing up surrounded by the aroma of sun-dried citrus peels and aging warehouses, we witnessed firsthand how patience, climate, craftsmanship, and time shape the character of authentic Xinhui Chenpi.
In 2017, the second generation returned to modernize while preserving what matters most: natural sun-drying, no artificial additives, no machine drying, and slow aging over time. Today we oversee every step from our own orchards in Tianma, Dongjia, and Sijian to your shelf.
